At just 21 years old, very young but already with a wealth of experience, he was appointed master glassmaker. “I used to go to work at 4 in the morning, just to learn,” he recounts with eyes shining at the memory. It is this determination, combined with an undeniable talent, that led him to realize his dream: his own furnace, 4Glass, born in 2016 after years of apprenticeship and hard work.

Crossing the threshold of the 4Glass furnace is like entering an enchanted world, where glass comes to life among the flames. Michael and his team work in perfect synchrony, their hands moving swiftly among the glow, guided by a communication made of gestures and glances.

But the true secret of 4Glass’s success is its close-knit team. Michael works alongside Valentina, who with her 40 years of experience in glass is a guarantee of quality. Together, they guide this team where different skills converge towards a single goal: giving shape to beauty.
Claudia, the commercial soul of the company, completes the trio at the helm of 4Glass. Respect for roles and mutual esteem are the glue that holds the group together, inside and outside the furnace. “I’ve always been surrounded by women,” Michael jokes. “And I can say that working with them is a joy.”
And then there’s Loris, the master of the night, who prepares the material with which Michael and the team will give life to their masterpieces. Together, they face daily challenges with a smile, aware that they can count on each other. “We are a team, a second family,” Claudia confirms.
